Intro
Santa Flora is founded and led by Kamil Szczepaniak, a Polish floral designer based in London, working internationally.
His practice operates at the intersection of botanical art, spatial composition and architectural sensitivity.
Background
Trained in Landscape Architecture at the University of Environmental and Life Sciences, Kamil developed a deep understanding of plant systems, proportion and environmental context.
He further studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, graduating with distinction, where he refined his understanding of spatial composition, colour, line and balance — principles that continue to inform the structural clarity of his installations.
His artistic formation was expanded through advanced studies at the Sogetsu Ikebana School in London, where he became a certified teacher.
The philosophy of ikebana — movement, restraint and controlled asymmetry — remains integral to his large-scale work.

Experience
With over a decade of experience in the floral industry, Kamil has worked as Lead Creative and Senior Florist at McQueens Flowers Ltd., creating refined floral designs for luxury events and private clients.
For over eight years, he has collaborated with leading floral and event design studios in London on large-scale installations, contributing to projects spanning complex architectural environments and public settings.
Several of the projects he has worked on have been featured in Vogue and other international publications.
For more than five years, he has led the design and realization of immersive large-scale installations for Annabel’s in Mayfair, London, as part of the recurring Amazon x Annabel’s project.
His work extends internationally, including a site-specific installation in AlUla, Saudi Arabia, where he also created a large-scale pop-up installation for Annabel’s Club.
In 2022, he was awarded second place in the prestigious Chelsea in Bloom competition.
Philosophy
Working at architectural scale has shaped a refined and distinctive visual language.
Through individually assembled leaves, flowers and branches, Kamil constructs multi-layered spatial compositions developed in direct response to context, proportion and structure.
Rooted in close observation of nature, his work translates organic complexity into sculptural forms that
remain controlled, intentional and enduring.
